Great Cause

So I know I have skipped a lot of posts and I apologize for that, but I wanted to share a challenge I joined at Colorful Creations and it was for a really great cause. The challenge was called Stryder's Fund. It was a sponsored challenge by Sew Many Cards. Every time you buy this set of digital stamp, the proceed goes to help Stryder get into the Mayo Clinic in MN. Please read the story here.

Here is the card I made for this challenge

Sympathy Card

Made this card for a dear friend not too long ago. It's sad that you have to actually make one of this card for someone. This was actually a first time for me.

Cupcakes

During the time I wasn't scrapping, I actually found a new hobby - making cupcakes! I've always wanted to go to school for baking, but never got the chance to. The passion is still there so I just do it at home whenever I get the chance. Just last month, I tried a few recipe I got from a book my friend Sarah bought me for my birthday. I wasn't able to take a picture of all of them. Before Sarah left for the States, I made her the cupcake she requested (Warm Chocolate Cupcake with Molten Center & Cinnamon Creme Anglaise). I'm not a big fan of chocolate, but I have to admit, it turned out delicious! Sarah took a picture of it, but I haven't gotten it from her so no picture of that. Anyway, my next project was the Mini Strawberry Trifles. The picture looked so good in the book that I had to try and make it. It surprised me that there was no baking involved with this one. It was so easy to make and it was soo good!!! Here is the picture of it :)

If anyone is interested in the recipe.. click here & here! Enjoy!

Card Swap

So I know I'm going out of order here, but I'm really bad at remembering things in order. Anyway, I wanted to share some cards I made a few months ago. Me and a few of my friends (all over the world) decided to do a card swap. We did one in February (Valentines Day) & April (Easter).

My Valentines Day Cards - Images I used for these cards are from Pink Cat Studio. I used the same images for the cards but tried to make it different for each person.

My Easter Cards - I decided to try out new card folds for my Easter cards and to do different designs for each card.

It's been awhile

Hi Everyone! It's been a few months.. I have been busy with work and spending time with the family before my hubby deployed. Well I am finally back and i'm hoping to keep up with the posts. So in March I had a Stampin' Up! workshop and I wanted to share some pictures taken that day. We decided to make a cute little basket for Easter.

The ladies and their creations (T-B) Gabi, Melly, Sabine, Tina & Mary. Unfortunately we weren't able to take a picture of Mary's creation :(
